Default 95 Trooper questions

I am going to be picking up a new Trooper in a couple of weeks.I have a 1st gen Trooper that I love, but I am not too familiar with the 2nd gen Troopers. So, this weekend we are putting in a new water pump and timing belt.It is in pretty good shape and has 180k miles on it. It has the 3.2l v6 & automatic. What I want to know is, is there anything that I need to pay particular attention to? At this age, and this many miles... is there something I should look at? What are common failures on these? Is there anything that I should replace 'just in case'?????????/Thanks!
