Default Thinking ecm

So I just bought a 97 rodeo 2wd with the 3.2ltr in really great shape for 700. Although I'm having a few issues it's doing random things at compleatly random times on the way home with it I thy stalled twice then smooth as glass for almost an hr. 3 days go by only thing was a small misfire once. Then while leaving the house bucking stalling trans light then drives fine. Lights randomly flashing on and off on the dash driving random stall all lights blink on dash etc. I'm a heavy equipment mechanic and know my way around this kind of thing. I'm thinking ecm but was wondering if anyone else has had similar issues with these or other resolves thanks.

Hey 97Rodeo97, Did you ever get an answer? I have just acquired a 98 Rodeo 3.2 2WD and am having various codes show up with PO sensors and an ABS light that keeps going on and of. Have changed a couple of PO sensors with no results, cleaned the ABS sensors also. When we first go the car, the high voltage sensor would register a code. Is it possible that the alternator is spiking and causing random codes to come on.

When ever I see the ABS code, I just manually shift at starting from stop by acting like I am driving a stick shift. Engine always runs smooth.
