I'm in the process of reassembling the engine for my 86 Trooper II, it's the carbureted 2.3L (4ZD1) and I'm putting on an AMC head and a Jerry cam. My fuel pump pushrod is totally trashed and I'm not sure what to do. I don't think I can reuse it but I can't find any replacements for it. Has anyone else delt with this? Should I try to find a generic pushrod of a similar spec? Thanks for any insight you guys might be able to give.
