Can anyone please help me and tell me exactly where I can find a purge canister solenoid on a 2000 trooper? i have the instructions from a manual, but am having a heck of a time finding it on on the upper manifold. I removed my drivers side front tire and thought is was around there, but still no luck.

You sure it isn't mounted on the canister, which is above amd in front of the fuel tank?

 

Thanks for the response, but my manual is stating that it is on the upper manifold. I looked near the canister and the part is no where to be found.
