2001 rodeo 2.2l died at stop sign.Would not start for a day.Got in it next morning it started.Got in it that night no start.Now it only starts sometimes.Mechanic say's it's getting fire and fuel.He can't figure it out.What's going on.I need a Isuzu man to figure this out.I may lose my job cause i can't drive to work 20 miles away. Please help today!

 

fire & fuel - 2 outta 4, eliminate compression since its running when its running, left with air - give it some air, pull the hose for the pcv-valve or try 'n start it with the egr off.

 

did you find out what's wrong? maybe something simple like the PCV-valve stuck (sometimes), that would be a cheap fix or at least a cheap try....
