Default ‘89 Amigo 2.6 mass air flow pigtail

My Amigo will crank and fun perfect until it warms. Then it will begin to run rich and die. My mechanic believes it’s the mass air flow sensor/ pigtail.
’89 with a 2.6L 5 speed

anyone else have similar issues before?

Parts recently replaced:
distributor
cap/rotor
plugs/wires
coil
fuel fliter
fuel tank dropped, lines blown
idle air sensor
