HELP! ‘96 Trooper
HELP!
My son’s ‘96 3.2 Trooper all of a sudden died out when he came to a stop light. I changed the plugs, was a little better. Then started dying while driving. Always starts right back up. No codes. No misfire, no stumble, just cuts out. I’ve replaced:
Plugs, fuel filter, fuel regulator, MAP sensor, IAC, crank sensor. Cleaned EGR, Throttle body, MAF. Inspected routing and condition of all the vacuum hoses. Checked the entire engine loom for cracks/breaks in the wiring. All good. Changed fuel pump relay. Good voltage and readings on O2 sensors.
Everything that I did seems a little better...starts right up, will run for about 1-3 minutes then die. No codes. It’s going on a month now and I’m stumped.
Oh and he’s had it since beginning of June last year, and it ran fine without doing anything to it. 150k miles
