my car has this weird oil problem,everytime i start the car the oil light is on and the kpa is at 0,so what i would do is turn it off and start it again (for about 4-5 tries) then the kpa would shoot up and so is the oil light.this only happens everytime i park the car overnight (8-24hrs).once the pressure is ok,the car is ok (even when turned off for a couple hours),then i would have the same problem the next morning. every oil change the oil pressure is good (just one start and the kpa would shoot up) but only for a couple days.


if the oil pump is not working properly,why would the car be fine for the day as long as i do the start-off procedure?


any1 with the same problem?

 

In Australia they call the Trooper----Jackaroo...I had the same EXACT same problem with mine and eventually they found the Oil Pressure sender was faulty and since replacing it the problem has not re-occured...That was approx a year ago.
