Upshift Light in high gear?
I am new to forum and new to a 1992 Trooper with about 215K miles on it.
It is a 5-sp manual 4WD.
The upshift light (a somewhat questionable feature in my opinion) seems to work as expected except, it come on also when I am in high gear and have nothing to upshift to. Is there something that is supposed to inhibit it in 5th gear or is this actually what it is supposed to do (annoying if it was designed to do that)
