I have just replaced the trans fluid and filter in a V6 Rodeo 4x4. I also had the trans out to replace a rear main seal. Now it wont shift out of 1st. reverse is fine. I can make it start out in a higher gear with the winter mode selected. Trans fluid has been checked and rechecked 3 times using the procedure the factory service manual says, and the mode switch has been adjusted - a few times. All wires, shift linkage, etc is right where it was before. Battery and alternator also test fine.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!
