I have a 98 rodeo ls (manual). The battery lite and the brake light just came on and they stay on until after 2,000 rpm. When the engine drops under 2,000 rpm the lights come back on. The brake system, the battery, and the alternator have all been serviced within the last year. I've checked the fuses and they all appear fine as well. Anyone have any ideas of what the problem might be before I bring it in and sink more money into my vehicle.

thanks

Check the battery connections. Clean them or replace the clamps if they are bad. If that doesnt work then I would say the alternator is going out again.

I have a 1998 Rodeo. I had not driven it for 1 month, and after getting back in I noticed the red light for the battery/brake light, turned on as I accelerated, and it would turn off, at an idle or when I let off the throttle. I also noticed when i took a corner, the radio would lose it's reception, and then it pick up the reception after the corner. Last night, the dashboard lights and headlights all started dimming, and eventually went out. I pulled off the road, and as I cornered, all of the lights came back on. I later drove home, and the gauges all blinked off, and later came back on... Any help, appreciated.

Same answer as above but before alternator, check all the grounds between frame, body, and engine. Remove them and make sure they are clean, they might look ok but be corroded where they connect. Sounds like loose ground or battery cables but could be something loose in the alternator.
