i lost the tranny in my 89 trooper 6 banger this morning and i found a tranny out of a 85 4 banger will it fit. the 6 banger is a gm motor and the 4 is isuzu. i hope they will cross. both are 5 speed standard.

the are different bell housings as well as different input shaft sizes and will not cross.
