The water pump and timing belt were changed on a 1995 Trooper. After the job was done the timimg was off. When it was taken back apart to correct the problem, bank 1 (passenger side) does not have a timing mark on it. Bank 2 (drivers side) and the bottom line up perfectly with their marks. My question is, where is the timing mark on bank 1 supposed to be, and can I turn bank 1 clockwise to line up with where it is supposed to be?

 

You really need to specify whether it's a SOHC or a DOHC motor. Timing marks are completely different.
