I have a 93 trooper, bought it last weekend, drove home and the transmission felt as if it was not engaging, slipping. It is a 4X4, 5 speed. Now the car can get in gear when I step on the clutch, but when I release the pedal, it does not move. I can not get it in gear without pressing the clutch, and when the engine is off, andI put the car in gear, I can easily push it as if it was in neutral. Is this a common symptom of a damaged Slave Cylinder? Thanks.
