Has anyone else had trouble with the oil coolers on their trooper?


I drive A 91 2.8 4x4man. and when i got it the oil cooler had been chopped and pluged, so I went to a scrap yard to get another but the aluminium pipes on it were to soft and so when I put a wrench to it they were ruined to!, Anyone know of any aftermarket parts, or clever do it yourselfs, that will work?
