This just makes a wonderful day turn to ****. get a call today from my mother stating she cant find my trooper key. She went to move it and dropped it out in the street. She found the Blue Key thing that it was attached too, but no keys. It was my only key i had to the truck and my Spare Tire pad lock key was on there too. She tells me, we can just call a Locksmith and get a new one made. Yea just have a new one keyed the same, just so, Joe Smoe can walk up and take off with my Truck. No thanks.

So, guess ill be getting a whole new Ignition for it now.

 

oh forgot to update this. Got keys made, Mom felt so bad, she called up the Locksmith and he came out made 2 keys. He said i need to keep an eye on the door cylinders, that they are starting to wear to the point of needing replacing. its a ugly trooper, who needs to lock it(hahaha).

Anyways, $113 bucks out of her pocket, which i thought was crazy, but she felt bad, i got two keys. I will be making more soon, just need to figure where to hide one on the trooper.

 

Well the thread title is 'lost my car keys' so I guess its the car keys...
Pretty much everyone has more than one set of house keys anyway.

Dude it's not big issue to lose key, just call lock smith and get new key for truck. Tells lock smith to build 2 keys, that if one lose then second can be use. Mom felt sad after losing key, you need to give her some good words about that.
