What would be a good engine swap?

I have an 86 Isuzu Trooper. Because of the high cost of engine parts, and/or a complete engine, what would be the easiest and least expensive engine swap I could make?

i,ve heard a chevy 350ci small block will fit need tranny adapter do some research

If you have the money/time/skills/etc anything can be put in.
How about a Chevy 4.3 V6?
