97 trooper engine ticking

neet to find out if their is any thing i can do about the loud ticking my
troop do when it is first turn on in the morning...
i do keep the oil changed regurally and the maintenance up petty good.
It's the rockers in the valvetrain. Once good, viscous oil gets to them, they quiet down. My '94 Trooper 3.0L did that, and my current '96 Trooper 3.2L does it. I suspect an inherent design flaw. I've learned to live with it, and of course, I stay very current on oil changes! Cheers,

your problem could also be the engine timing or a faulty exhaust gasket.
