Hello, I live in Jersey and have a 2000 import from Cyprus, I think it is a 1999 vehicle but was one of the last 3.1 it does not have a timing belt as the local dealer found after charging me to strip down and replace!. Anyway The engine has done 45000kilometers and is perfect, I have towed a boat lots so the body looks good but everything underneath is seriously rusty.

My question. is there someone that could transplant the good bits from mine to a rust free body. Just hate the idea of dumping a good engine and box that has done little work.

The dealer should refund the money being that's the case. That's unscrupulous on their part.

Overall, probably not worth the cost or hassle to do that project, but might be worth taking care of it until "the time comes".

I may be biased, but a good oil sure helps.
