Hello newbie here.

I got a 2002 Trooper that is stalling once warmed when I come to a stop, but only in drive. If I change gears to neutral it doesn't stall. Or when in reverse. I did a thread search and couldn't find anything that addressed this problem. Had the mechanic change the intake manifold gasket as some threads suggested , but that still hasn't solved the problem. Starts right back up every time. Shows check engine light ,but gives no code. HELP??

 

It's strange that no code is being generated.
Have you tried different OBD-II scanners?
