2002 Trooper Alternator - Suggestions for removing it?
Haven't had much luck finding info about this while searching around. Hoping someone here can help...
I have a 2002 Trooper that has a bad alternator (causing the battery to need to be replaced as well). I've looked at various YouTube videos (none specific to this vehicle however) and read some instructions, but I cannot figure out how to get the alternator off the engine to replace it. Do I go in from the top or underneath? Is there something I need to move out of the way, or is there a trick to getting it out without disassembling everything? There are some hoses and other parts that appear to be blocking it from an easy removal. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
