My automatic trany overheated and ony goes in first and reverse.
I was told that the trany has cluches that have blown so it won't shift. I found a used 1992 Trooper trany to replace it but I was wondering if I can install it into my 1990 Trooper?

Does anyone know if the trany from an S10 fit the troopers?

 

From what I understand, 1992-1994 are only interchangeable between those years and will not go newer or older.
