After 8 years the turn indicators quit working, but I noticed that the Hazard lights still blinked. I replaced the flasher and the turn indicators started working again.
After 2 weeks, the same thing happened, I replaced the flasher again and it started working again.
Is there something else besides the flasher that is causing this? Could one or more of the bulbs have a problem that would cause the flasher to only blink when the Hazard switch is pressed?
I saw something about the flasher requiring a certain load to start blinking.
