So, I have a 2001 Honda Passport, which is the same as an Isuzu Rodeo right? I was wondering if you can use Honda atf-z1 trans fluid in place of dexron without any problems?

only use what the manual that came with your passport.. You have to be really careful what you put in your transmission.. People are know to have alot of problems with these cheap transmission.... even kill them around 80,000 miles on the car.

 

Well, that's the thing. I may have had a mechanic put in the wrong fluid. He put in ATF Z1 and i'm not sure if it's screwed up my trans. Isuzu flat out refuses to answer the question if that Z1 stuff works in the trans.
