We just recently purchased a 98 Rodeo and at times the throttle or something sticks, but when turned off it restarts normally. I cleaned out the air intake valve on the front of the engine, the egr valve and replaced the pcv as well. It doesn't 'stick' as much but wondering what else I might try before replacing parts that may not need replacing. Thanks for any suggestions.......

Today I cleaned the Idle Air Control Valve and it was pretty gunked up. I'll reply in a week or so to see if that made the fix.

So far so good....... I got a repair manual which helps a lot- cheaper if you get a used one from amazon
