I found a 98 rodeo. 4x4, leather, sunroof, etc... Runs good and all but smokes. I'm looking at buying it for 2300. I think it has a little under 150k on it. How hard are parts to get for these? Gas mileage? How reliable? What would cause it to smoke? I'm guessing need new rings. How much would that cost to fix? Sorry so many questions but car is through a friend and trying to get some scoop before I buy it or see if I should avoid it. Anything I should look for? Was 98 a bad year?


Looking for a nice reliable small suv for a dd that will last me a couple years till things turn around.
