I have a 2004 Rodeo with a 3.5. The check engine light is on and flashing, but not the reduced power light. It sounds like it is missing on a cylinder, but still doing it after swapping the plugs. Anyone have any idea what it might be?

Usually not good to drive with a flashing CEL, usually means something happening that can damage the cat converters. You need to get the CEL code read though to know where to start looking. Auto Zone will read the codes for free. Get the actual code numbers and post back here.

Got the code of P0300. Was told its #5 cylinder missing. Hope its just the plug gone bad, but wont know till at least Tuesday. Got to love being in Fairbanks Alaska and having plugs that dont cross reference to any other plug. Finally ordered them from Sparkplug.com
