So I was gonna change the serpentine belt on my 1991 Isuzu Rodeo 3.1 because of it's age and small cracks when I noticed the tensioner and pulley were spinning at a slight angle from the others. I assume the tensioner is worn out, after only 202,000 miles, but cannot figure how to get that bugger out. Anybody got a good bit of advice to share?

 

Have you made any progress on this yet? There is only one bolt holding the tensioner on. It's on the spring loaded part of it not the bolt in the center of the pulley. Hope this helps.
