I think my rear door latches are rusted shut from non-use. Is this common? Any magic fix without breaking the mechanism?

the latches freeze up,at the lock lever inside the doors.the door panels can be pulled off.an disconnect the linkage,you may have luck moving it be had.once you get them open soak the latches down in p.b blaster.

 

mine did the same thing, and i had no success with fixing it, one door does open now though when i pull the outer and inner door handle at the same time, and if you can get it ope it will make it a lot easier to work on, i had problems getting my door panels off with the door shut, hope some of that may help, good luck!!
