I own a 2001 V6 rodeo and i just bought power mirrors and the power mirror switch and plugged them all in to the existing wiring harnesses and they dont work! They should be on the same fuse as the radio which works fine. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" =text/> </>Yes i have both fuses installed. There is an open spot for an optional diode in both fuse boxes, i thought maybe i need to install another diode, but im not so sure what a diode is. Also i testedfor powerat the plug by the mirrors and at the switch. The switch has power andworks fine but the plugs by the mirrors have no power.< =text/> _uacct = "UA-939292-44"; urchinTracker(); </>

Only thing I can think of is a broken wire or maybe isuzu only prewired part of the circuit and there is an intermediate harness that needs to plug in someplace. I tried looking at wiring diagrams to see if thats the case but cant see anything. Only thing I can think of is to trace the wires and use a meter to see where you lose power. Its a PITA but thats all I can think of.< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-44";

Yeah it turns out they didnt prewire the harness that goes from the door to the switch, so I either need to find that harness somewhereor just wire it myself.

I cant find it anywhere on myisuzuparts.com all they show is the mirror or switch, not the wiring. You could try calling allhyundaiisuzu if you cant find it locally. They are usually pretty good at getting the right part.< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-44";

I ended up wiring them myself, it took awhile but they work fine so I'm happy.

Glad its working for you now. I hate wiring, every time I do it takes me 2 days to do it. I tend to sleep late though so run out of daylight fast LOL. I have 3 sets of aftermarket lights and getting ready to install another set, I also ran cable to the rear to run a power inverter. Thats too much freakin wiring!
