Default Please HELP Severe VIbration

Sorry for the length of the post but the Devil is in the details

98 Isuzu Rodeo 2.2L 4cyl Manual Trans 150K.

I bought this Rodeo second hand in late 2009 with no visible defects at time of purchase. I have since come across some issues, some of which I have
attempted to fix to date I have changed:
-2 O2 sensors
-speed velocity sensor
-camshaft position sensor
-fuel preasure regulator
-Timing belt
A lof these things I changed when I ran the OBD II code scanner. I have changed or fixed all codes except for P1627 PCM analog/Digital conversion.
I believe this is a code for the fuel level sensor which is located in the fuel pump assembly located in the fuel tank. Of course my fuel gauge does
not work. In addition to this I started having problems starting my Rodeo (not getting gas). So I checked fuel line preasure at the fuel rail preasure
relief valve. When I turn the key to the on position the fuel pump turns on and I get a spike in fuel line preasure, but as soon as the pump stops the
preasuer drops to 0 psi indicating a leak. I followed the fuel line from tank to fuel rail and could not find any leaks. My diagnosis has been that their
is a small leak in the tank maybe right at the fuel pump. my work around until I drop the tank and change the pump has been to prime the fuel line by
cycling the pump on and off a couple of times before attempting to start. This has worked like a charm for now. In addition to this quark my Rodeo has
intermitent problems with long hauls up hill. If I go up short hills of medium grade or less no problems appear but if I am going through extended
treks of up hill mountainous areas I start to loose power and my accelerator stops working the tone of my engine noticible changes. If i pull over and
shut down for awhile i'm usually able to get through piece by piece. My work around has been not to go into the mountains. Stay flat down hill or little
sporatic hills only. No resolution on this as of yet.

Now for the current issue all other aside. I decide to take the family to the inlaws 1 weekend during a Holiday, plz note inlaws live a couple hundred
mile away. While their I decided to do an oil change. I use 10w-30 full synthetic and have been ever since I purchased. On the trip home the Rodeo was running
like a champ until me a my wife decided to change drivers half way home. I swear not a mile after my wife got in the drivers seat the Rodeo started to loose
power and the engine strated a slight vibration which quickley turned into a savere shake, rattle, and roll. I quickely had her pull over, and shut down.
I checked for the obvious overheat, blown head, water in the oil. All negative cooling system fine oil fine, nothing noticible. Of course this means a
several hundred dollar tow job before I can investigate further.
So what I found was dead #3 spark plug wire and low compression in my #1 and #2 cylinders about 35 psi in #1-#2 and 199-200psi in #3-#4. Now I have no
Check engine light on and it starts but runs very rough undrivable rough with very little response to the accelerator.Since then I have changed out all
my wires, plugs and even the coil pack. But same result it sounds cleaner but I still have that bad vibration. I realize that the low compression indicates I
need a head/valve job, and I did do a wet test in the cylinders. After I put oil in the cylinder the compression did not change indicating that its not the
seals. So Head job aside I am still looking for a "smoking gun" PLease correct me if i'm wrong but I don't see how the low compression, something that
happens over time would affect my car with instant symptoms. Remember the incident while driving went from purring like a kitten to loss of power and savere
engine vibration in less than a minute. In my mind I am left with 2 avenues labor out the head myself and take to a machine shop for $250-$300, or replace
PCM $250-$300 although maybe I can have dealer test the PCM not sure though every time I ask the dealer about ISUZU its either we dont do that or it cost
an arm and a leg special order. I guess the real question is can the low compression do this....you know all of a sudden be running like a champ and then
boom loss of power and savere vibration? locically I was thinking something more of an on or off item like dead wire, dead plugs faulty coil pack, but so
far its been hit or miss and ive been missing. Thanks for any ideas. I've alway found these sights to be great resources for the do it yourself guys..
