Hey guys. I'm fresh out of the box here and I just want to see if any of you could help me out. I have a 200 rodeo 113k and I just replace the cats coil boots, spark plugs, o2 sensors and I have a random misfire p300 and I've had it checked out by a mechanic and he still stuck on what the problem might be. The weird thing is that they think its the ICM but they test it and no go. Having said that. Here are the symptoms. Car starts fine,runs good until you slam on the the gas and it misfires and it goes nuts. You can hear a very bad knock when pushing the gas. After I get out of the vehicle while its running I check the coils by unplugging them to hear the idle difference. The passenger 3 work fine. I literally unplug all 3 driver side and nothing happens. But when I first start the car to drive to work I test them and all 6 work. I guess they stop firing after they get hot? Any comments are welcome. thanks guys.
