Check engine light

The first thing you need to do is buythe owners manual for your rig.... it''s not that hard to find and they are veryinexpensive.
Your post is too general. It really doesn''t sound like anything is wrong.. is the car actually not running properly? It could just be a sensor. Thereare handfuls beyond handfuls of information out there, take the time and do the research. I''ve already found a good amount of answers to problems my rig has just by looking around.

Find someone that can check the codes from the ECU. Dont know about costa rica, here we can go to auto zone auto parts store and they will do it free. Have to know what codes it says before even guessing at what is causing it.

To add on to whatsomeone else briefly mentioned about checking codes. Go to Any auto parts store and spend 150 $ and buy your own code reader and you can check your own codes. This is good because some auto shops charge to do this and you can do it from home. Just be aware that some mechanical knwledge is nescesary to read the codes and to know the right course of corrective maintnance. Edited by: vebontrager
