I have an ongoing problem no one can seem to fix....1997 Rodeo 4 cyl...Blows ice cold air in ARIZONA...It was 120 degrees last week....When it gets real hot outside and the compressor cycles on and off it will not come back on, thus blowing hot air. At night it never does this or if its not over 100 degrees outside. It could come back on in 5 minutes or an hour..Yesterday out on the highway it was fine and it was hot. Later in the afternoon I had the problem. My mechanic said there was to much freon in it, so he pulled some out, that was last year and its back doing it again. Brought back in and everything checks fine. Temperature gauge isnt even at half way and when it blows cold air its very cold....Any ideas?
