Default 2003 Rodeo cooling system help!

So the 2003 Rodeo doesn't exist. At least in the world of repair manuals. I have a manal for a 2002, but it isn't helping me with my problem.

I can't seem to find the thermostat housing. I see where the upper hose goes into a housing, but that housing also couples as the holder for a pully for the drive belt.

Is this correct?
Pictures wold be great??

Not sure if this will help but I just had the timing belt, failing tensioners and all that good stuff done to my 2001 V6 and while he had it all apart the mechanic did the thermostat as well. They said it's a real pain to get to it by itslef without the front end apart... so maybe it is around near the front, should be a pretty distinct elbow with a buldge to fit a thermostat.

Default 2003 Rodeo cooling system help!

Two week ago I replaced my timing belt, water pump and all others related pulleys. Easier than what I was expecting. I got all the instructions from the vendor (summit racing) along with the parts. If you ar concerning about the thermostat, it is true: a pain in the (|) to replace. See link below containing some pictures from the same engine. Note that timing belt and thermostat are in different locations, they are toally different jobs.
