Default Need help finding Tranni plug on Rodeo

Just bought a 97 Rodeo 6 cylinder 2wd, and I am loving it! However, it seems to be locking up going from 1st to 2nd gear. How do I check the transmission fluid?

Sealed Tranny. If you don't see any oil leaks, your tranny doesn't need ATF. they have a hard shifting. On my 98 Rodeo 4X4 1st shift goes up to 20-25 MPH. I recommend you reading the owner's manual and comparing the specs to the actual shifts.

the dip stick for it is in the back right behind the oil dip stick. it should have a metal tag hanging from it.
