is the 2.3 and 2.6 liter use the same distributor. my 1995 2.3 will run 10 miles and die like you turned the key off. but it will start right up and maybe go 10ft or 10 miles and die again always restarts so its hard to diagnose. anybody have any ideas. was going try a new distributor. done repalced the coil

 

i think I found the problem. there is a ignition ignitor under the intake manifold. Purchased one at Auto zone and have droe it 350 miles and has ran good. Hope its fixed

 

ok same problem now again/ went and replaced ignitor again and did not solve the problem. i notice if i unhook the coil plug and reisert it it will start. any ideas.
