My name is Ann, I have a 2001 Trooper that I absolutely love. 2001 Anniversary Edition, aut trans with 4wd and 4on the fly. Can someone direct me to where I might problem that I am having with my Trooper?

Hey Anne, I'm a new member too, does your Trooper have the "TOD" option? (torque on demand) My '99 model has this as part of the auto 4x4 "on the fly" push button system and the "check" light always flashes, I've been told it's due to a bad solinoid in the transfer case but it does not effect the 4x4 low, so I chose not to spend the $800 to have it fixed. I hope this helps.

Hey Anne, well there could be many problems. My suggestion would be to take it into the shop. At the most, it would cost about $500. Theres not much to worry about.
