Looking to buy a 1989 I-Mark RS
Absolutely! I'm located in central KY, just south of Lexington. I'm looking for 2k. That's what I put into it, but figured out I don't have the time and energy to work on it (plus I don't currently have a garage and working out in my apartment complex parking lot kind of stinks. Here's a link to the govdeals auction I bought it off of, where you can see pertinent details and more pictures. Since I bought it I've put a muffler on it and changed the oil and filter. The main problem it's got going for it is that it's burning some oil. It's not leaking though, so I'm thinking it might be valve seals rather than head gaskets, though I've been unable to put my hands on a manual. That said, it's also got some rust (though evidently much less than they typically have at this vintage) and a stuck caliper (which I plan to unstuck this spring). Hope this helps your decision-making process. Sad to say it's not the hatchback version. Definitely at minimum a rare, conditioned parts car in terms of original internal parts.
