Unhappy idel/power problem '91

I just ran a compression test on my '91 Trooper 4cyl, I put in new spark plugs because the ones that I pulled out looked pretty crappy. So after seeing that all my cylinders compressed at the same level, I put it back together and now the truck doesn't want to idel well. Then I took it for a spin around the block and it seemed to have lost some power or something. So I started replacing vacuum hoses and the problem seems the same. I know it has a pretty bad exhaust leak and I'm wondering if that may be contributing to it possibly? Any suggestions? I need this to be running in top shape in like 2 days. Help!

Have you double-checked that you have your wires on in the right order?
