Default Help needed. No power out of starter relay

1994 Isuzu rodeo. 6 cylinder. Bought it when owner couldn't get starter to work. She had a "mechanic" straight wire a push button to the starter straight off the battery.
We have replaced the starter, ignition switch, starter solenoid and used desperate relays to test if the starter one works. So we undid all the wires they cut and sent through the switch. Now all is where it is supposed to be but no power out of the relay to the starter.
Any advice would be appreciated.
