I'm a mechanically un-inclined woman but with lots of logic and common sense. Trooper wouldn't start today, turned on and all lights work but nothin. No click, no nothin. Got a tow. Researched and thought could be starter. Crawled under the beast, found the starter, bang! bang! bang! and WHAAA LAA! She started.

Question: How many bangs do I get before the starter is totally dead? I mean, do I have a week of starts, a month, what?

If luck is on your side maybe a few weeks. Eventually it fail hopefully later than sooner.
