Car is noiiser after I changed the fan clutch on my Rodeo v6 2001. I used a aftermarket one from autozone. Is the original that much better than the new one?

I have heard from another forum that the generic fan that autozone sells is clutched in the wrong direction for my car which means I'm also wasting gas.

IT WILL BE UNBALANCED AN BREAK, SO SINCE YOU BOUGHT A AFTERMARKET ONE ,YOU WONT BE ABLE TO DO THAT,BE PREPARED ON BUYING A BRACKET IN YOUR FUTURE, OE. ONES ARE 200 BUCKS FROM THE DEALER. THE DEALER BRACKETS AN FAN CLUTCHES HAVE PAINT MARKS ON THEM TO ALIGN,TO PUT THEM IN THE BALANCED POSITION.HOPEFULLY YOU HAVENT GOT AN AFTERMARKET FAN BRACKET ALREADY ALSO.Edited by: ISUZUGURU

I bought the new style fan and clutch. The new fan has a stamp mark that looks like it matches a molded protusion on the clutch. It would have been nice to have it say radiator side or cooling clutch side. Anybody know exactlyhow it goes.
