I have the 1993 3.2 Liter V6. What is the usual pressure on those motors at operating temp? When I start my truck, I have about 55 lbs. As the motor warms up to running temp, my pressure drops. At idle, I have roughly 10 lbs.

I do have a noise on the right hand side of the motor, but I can''t tell if it is a leaking exhaust gasket, or a worse problem. With this low pressure(?) I wonder if this is going to be the onset of a bad, bad problem.

Is this average? Tnaks in advance.

95 3.2 thats a little noisy buts been that way since iv had it.

According to the repair manual i have it states 10 pounds at idle / 500rpm, and 30-55 pounds at 2000 rpm.....

I have a ridiculous gauge that reads over 250 psi (that looks factory) and is shown in the owners manual,so its hard for me to guess ,what im running ,but the idiot light goes off and stays off even though the gauge looks low as its calibrated so high numerically....

It does run around the center of the 0-80 psi mark or slightly below and i think the sender may be on its way out.

200 thousand , new harmonic ballancer ,timing belt, oil cooler ,and would prefer a normal gauge that reads to 80 psi so it wouldnt look like the pressure is low.

Looks like somthing that should be in a airplane!!!!Edited by: Bull
