I have a 97 rodeo with 3.2L V6. I recently went off-roading and went through some pretty deep water/mud. The rodeo ran fine the rest of that day and all day the next until that evening I was driving and noticed a whine coming from the front of the engine compartment that would get louder as the engine idle would increase, also the oil pressure topped out at 215. Is the oil pump going out or could the oil pickup tube be clogged? Any help would be great. Edited by: im5811mp
