How do you check ( where in the engine compartment )the transmission fluid and add some? automatic trans

 

There should be a threaded plug, similar to the drain, but higher on the transmission casing. Fill with Dexron III to the point it starts to drip out of the fill hole. Transmission should be warm with the trooper on a level surface.
