I have a Issuse tropper 2001 and it has 81K miles. When I came back from canada ( after 4 hours drive with A/C) i have had a message like "Reduced Power" and i couldn't drive more than 30 mph. the light go away after i stopped the car.





What should I do?

 

is it still doing this? i am not familiar with the emergency modes on that vehicle, but some vehicles have a "limp home" mode, where something is wrong internally, so the engine powers down, often cutting the spark to some cylinders and/or restricting the rpm range.

 

you should take it to a dealer where they can diagnose what is your problem. You could be having an overheating problem

 

u went into limp home mode, u probably have a problem in the throttle by wire circuit some where,and probably need a wiring harness. its best 2 let the dealer handle this one
