Need some input on Tranny operation:


01 Trooper 4x4 Limited


Rebuild on tranny last year. When returned to me, the TOD light won't stop flashing when engaging the TOD system. I remember this flashing only long enough to "set up" and then went steady showing live reports with lights on where the torques was sent front to back. The shop has not been able to find the problem...at least they're still willing to chase it. I had it in for servicing today and they agreed to take it from me again last week of this year while I'm home from work for the Holidays to get this straightened out.


So far, they cleaned and checked the wiring harnesses. Do I remember there is a vacuum line associated with this portion of the system?
