Stumbling 95 Trooper
Hi guys/gals, I am sure someone has or had this problem. Stumbling on low acceleration and check engine light comes on. Anything past that and she goes great. Occassionally it clears it self and runs perfect for a week or two. Every time I go to get codes off of it the check engine light goes off. I guess I have to travel with the tool plugged in to be in the right place to get the codes. MAF? EGR? Any suggesstions?
Thanks

Hum. I thought the codes stayed in the computer for downloading unless the battery was disconnected. Is this not true on the '95s?
Just a thought Re: MAF, depending on what type it is, if where it senses the air flow is not clean or plugged, it could allow the engine to start but buck later on but flow okay again if what ever is plugging it clears.
Engine lights usually indicates all that smog stuff so without a direct code read out you could be chasin' the bunny for a while...
best of luck
