Hi all i am new to this forum. I have a few questions for all of you. I have a family member with a 1990 trooper that has a blown GAS engine! I am considering putting a diesel engine in it and buying the truck from her. Are these engines available in the us and what price. Other question is , if I do not get the truck from her what should i ask for it if we sell it. Basically rust free, new big tires, newer clutch, clean but minimal interior, 4wd works fine, many new parts new exhaust etc... i really want the diesel if it is a inexpensive option. any advice welcome.

im not sure but i think its going to be tough to find a diesal engine for the trooper. only a few were imported to the US, most of the ones i heard of are overseas.
